ALCATEL IDOL 4 SMARTPHONE(REVIEW)

Today I will be going to review The Alcatel Idol 4 smartphone. Generally I am not interested in reviewing these smartphones, I just like to review company based smartphones like Samsung, Apple and many more but when I found that this device is trending on internet and when I just saw the pictures of this device on internet it attracted me a lot. So I decided to review this smartphone for you guys. This device is sold in India via Flipkart for Rs 16,999(16GB) and I have to say that this device just looks like a premium device because of it's looks and the glass back. You will get a big box as compared to other smartphones boxes and you will get a very good packaging. This time Alcatel is saying that the device is having very powerful speakers and you will also get VR goggles inside the box which is pretty good. Inside the box we have The device, VR goggles, some paperwork, a charger, a USB cable, JBL earphones, a transparent case for the device, a screen guard, a sim ejector tool, extra ear tips and a strap for VR. I have to say Alcatel is providing many accessories as compared to other companies.

Now coming on the device, on the top it has a 3.5mm Headphone jack and a Secondary noise Cancellation Microphone. At the right side we have volume buttons, BOOM Key and a sim slot. On the bottom it has a charging slot and a Main Microphone. At the left side it has the power button. On the back it has a Camera and a Flashlight. It is powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset(Octa core processor) an it runs on Adreno 405 GPU. Coming on the Ram and Rom it has 3GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage(Rom). It comes with 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. It has a 5.2'' 1080p screen( LCD, HD screen). It also comes with 2610mAH battery. NFC, Hybrid sim slot and powerful dual speakers are supported on this device. You will get a custom UI from Alcatel so you will not get stock Android experience on this device. There are many 3rd party apps on this device which can be deleted to free some space.

It runs on Android 6.0.1(Marshmallow) and out of that 16GB you will get about 8.8GB which might be a problem for a heavy user but still you can expand it with a Micro SD card upto 512GB. You can also free some space by deleting 3rd party apps. The volume is really loud on this device as they are powered at 3.6 watt. It is a Multimedia oriented smartphone but as you know no device is perfect it has a disappointing thing that is the finger print scanner. So I have to say they must provide a finger print scanner in this price range. Now coming on the camera, the Tap to focus function is there on this device which is pretty good in my opinion. The pictures taken by this device are very good in daylight condition. It is available in 3 colors Gold, Metal silver and Dark grey but this time I am not confirm that there are only 3 colors. There can be more than 3 colors.

Thank You for reading my post...I hope you like it please share it and read my other posts also.
